Most banks recommend scheduling the payment on or before the due date of Feb 1, May 1, Aug 1 and Nov 1, for payment to be received within the 10 day grace period. Neither Postmark nor the date on the check are accepted as the payment date. The Township is mandated by New Jersey State Statute to use the date the payment is received as the date of payment. Your bank mails a physical check to the Township. Online payments made through your own bank are not electronic transfers. Your tax bill includes the funds for the County, County Open Space, School, Fire District, Municipal, and Municipal Open Space. The Tax Collector's office is responsible for the billing and collection of all property taxes.

If you were signed up for E-Notify on the last website, your information WILL NOT be carried over to this website you must register again. It is your responsibility to check the website or your tax bill for the date when taxes are due. We will also be posting an alert on the bottom right corner of the website as a reminder of when taxes are due, closer to that date.

The function of this new version of E-Notify is to notify you when the Tax Office page has been edited/updated. E-Notify will NO LONGER send you an email or text with a reminder from the Tax Office to pay your taxes.
